IT SECURITY FOR ALL: MEET CHERRY AT GITEX 2015

Auerbach, October 12th, 2015 - CHERRY, specialist in computer input devices, will be exhibiting at the 35th annual GITEX in Dubai, UAE. From 18th - 22nd October. CHERRY representatives will be highlighting its portfolio of IT security solutions, such as the KC 1000 SC keyboard and the TC 1100, TC 1200 and TC 1300 smart card terminals. Visitors have the chance to examine these products and experience CHERRY's proven product quality.

Security keyboard with integrated smart card terminal

One of the focus products that CHERRY is showcasing at the GITEX is the wired security keyboard KC 1000 SC. Thanks to an integrated smart card terminal the CHERRY KC 1000 SC invalidates the need for an additional device. The keyboard is an ideal solution for applications such as digital signatures, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), logon, authentication, Single Sign On (SSO), data encryption, home banking and e-commerce. The card reader has a lifespan of over 100.000 mating cycles, the keycaps are laser-engraved for maximum durability and the keyboard itself features an ergonomically optimised design.

Long-lasting, class 1 terminals for smart cards

The CHERRY TC 1100, TC 1200 and TC 1300 smart card terminals belong to the best on the market. The KC 1100 is a reliable solution for bidirectional communication with contact smart cards, while the KC 1200 offers the same quality and features for contactless smart cards. Those looking for an all-encompassing product that handles both contact and contactless smart cards have a good solution in the high-end, dual-interface CHERRY KC 1300. All three products are class 1 terminals consisting of high-quality workmanship, state-of-the-art technology and an intelligent design featuring a convenient LED status display.

CHERRY will be among the recognizable exhibitors at the show, which acts as a hub for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia technologies industry. The event, the largest of its kind, attracts up to 130,000 visitors and hosts 3500 exhibitors each year.Visit CHERRY at Concourse 1, booth CC1-45A of the 35th annual GITEX in Dubai from 18-22 October 2015.
