Glinde, May 10th, 2016 - be quiet!, the market leader in PC power supplies in Germany for ten consecutive years*, has optimized the look of several power supplies by switching to all-black cables from now on. In addition to high-quality technology, stable power supply, and first-class workmanship, the design is a key component of each be quiet! product. Therefore, the German company has decided to equip the PSU series Dark Power Pro 11, Straight Power 10, Pure Power 9 and System Power 8 (some bulk versions excluded) with black cables. This allows for a modern look through a clean interior design of the PC. There have been no technical changes.
Change to cable requested by users
Black cables were an often-heard wish of the customers, who value a high-quality look of their computer. Therefore, the Pure Power 9 and System Power 8 models were already fitted with these cables at market launch. Now be quiet! has upgraded the Dark Power Pro 11 as well as the Straight Power 10 series by equipping them with black cables. The product name remains unaffected, as well as the price.
