The Dutch IT editor Guru3D has revisited his Silent Base 800 review to reflect the benchmarking results to the new Window version. The review and conclusions are similar to those of the windowsless case, which is good for the Guru3D Recommended Award.

The German online magazine tweakPC has published a review of the Silent Base 800 Window on launch date. Like the original, the editor is very content with this case, finding only minor niggles in the design. The editor is very happy with the window, scoring the case with 8 out of 10, good for a Silver Award.

The Dutch authority Hardware.Info has reviewed the be quiet! Dark Rock TF cooler. They are very satisfied with the performance of this top flow cooler, noting benchmarks scores that are close to (or sometimes exceeding) populair tower coolers. Unfortunately, the editor is less impressed with the retail price and think the cooler is too high for certain other usage scenarios. That's why the Dark Rock TF is not given an award.

New benchmark methodology used on four be quiet! coolers

The Dutch online/print IT authority Hardware.Info has published a roundup of 29 CPU coolers, benchmarked according to a completely new methodology, raising the RPM in a sound-proof box to reach 30 dB(A) and 40 dB(A). At these noise levels three loads were simulated (95W, 125W, 160W) to measure temperatures. The 160W test is also performed at full RPM speed. According to this methodology, the four reviewed be quiet! CPU coolers are decent but don't excel, except when it comes to design. No awards were given.

The Dutch online/print authority Hardware.Info has reviewed the be quiet! Shadow Rock LP. But they aren't very positive about this low profile cooler, as they think this cooler is too high to be called 'low profile'. The performance of the cooler is 'good enough', according to the reviewer. Due to its height, Hardware.Info doesn't understand what target audience be quiet! is aiming at with this product.
