The German website PC Games Hardware has published a comparison review of eight 140 millimetre fans. The Silent Wings 3 PWM comes in sixth place because the fan is very quiet, but the PWM implementation is described as problematic. Ranking eighth is the Shadow Wings 2 PWM White, which offers a good performance per loudness, but is rather weak in performance.
