Two "Very good" awards for the PSU from be quiet!

The German website Tech-Review.de has taken a closer look at the be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 550W. In the review they highlight the virtually silent operation, the huge amount of add-ons in the box and the high efficiency. Along with good build quality and the one-year 48-hours local exchange in case of any defects, this was enough for two awards. The Dark Power Pro 11 receives the predicate "Very Good" in both Tech-Check and Silent-Check.

The YouTuber ITRaidDE from Germany has put together a new configuration, which he presented in a video. As a power supply he chose the be quiet! Hardware.Info UK has reviewed 56 power supplies in the range of 350 to 550 watts. Of these 56, eleven were power supplies by be quiet!. The System Power 8 400W was given an award for Great Value, while the Dark Power Pro 11 550W received the Ultimate Award.

The Swedish modders/reviewers of Swerigs have reviewed the be quiet! Silent Base 800. They are very happy with this first attempt at a chassis, stressing the sheer amount of space this chassis offers, its noise reducing features and the build quality. With only a few minor quibbles, they wholeheartedly recommend this case to any serious PC builder.

Dark Power Pro 11 shines in comparison

Hardware.Info Magazine 3-2016 features a group review of passive power supplies, which are tested against two regular power supplies -- one of which is the be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 550W. The conclusion is shocking: only one passive model is more silent than the DPP11 but it only offers a three-year warranty, so Hardware.Info recommends people to buy a Dark Power Pro 11 instead.
