In the 01/20 issue of PC Games Hardware, readers were able to participate in the "Pimp my PC" upgrade. For this campaign, components of be quiet! were used, such as the Straight Power 10 & 11, the Pure Base 600 and the Pure Wings 2 & 3. The Dark Rock Pro 4, Pure Rock and Pure Power L7 are also used. In another system, the Shadow Rock 2, the Silent Base 801 and the Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2 used.

Who is better than good?

In the comparison review of PC Games Hardware 01/20 a total of four brands compete against each other. Among others be quiet!, Arctic and Scythe. For be quiet! the Shadow Wings 2 White PWM and Silent Wings 3 PWM are in the comparison. At the beginning, the editor goes into the test procedure and explains which points are dealt with in more detail, such as cooling performance and loudness. At the end of the test, the Shadow Wings 2 White PWM receives the "Silent Award" and a score of 2.53. The Silent Wings 3 PWM receives a score of 2.45 and is praised for its quiet operation.
