PCGH readers survey: two times place 1 and one time place 2 for be quiet!

For the sevens time in a row be quiet! could win in the PC Games Hardware readers' survey and became Manufacturer of the year 2012 for Power supplies and Fans. But cpu coolers got acknowledged by the readers, too, since be quiet! reached second place in the category CPU coolers. This survey means a lot to be quiet! since it's a direct representation of the users' opinions.

The readers of PC Games Hardware voted in 27 categories for their favorites from the year 2012 and made among others be quiet! the most popular manufacturer of the past year.

The be quiet! cooler scores at the alternative test procedure from PCGH

In issue 03/2013 PC Games Hardware tests four CPU cooler with an alternative testmethod.The Dark Rock Pro 2 is also in the review and scores at reduced fanspeed with a very good volume level.

At a temperature of 60 degrees celsius the cooler is with 0.3 sone almost inaudible.

The quality of the fan and therefore the noise characteristic is outstanding. In fact, we have not reviewed another fan with such a smooth operation until now .

System Power selected for entry-level PC

Dutch recommends System Power 7 for Sub-500-Euro system

Dutch magazine Hardware.info regularly creates example configurations for PC systems. In April they created an entry-level PC below 500 Euro, which is able to handle most day-to-day tasks. They used a System Power 7 with 300 Watts for this purpose.

Even in an entry-level PC one should care about the quality of the power supply. The System Power 7 300W is not expensive and scored fantastic results in our tests. Especially in terms of efficiency, stability and Ripple & Noise it offers enough performance for our entry-level PC.
