Improvements to the E9 series appreciated

The famous German print magazine C't reviewed the Straight Power E9 400 W in their latest issue 6/12. The editors enjoyed the low noise and improved efficiency. But even in other areas there was no cause for criticism.

As better efficiency becomes more and more important to customers, Germany's Tomshardware did a roundup with four 80Plus Gold PSUs for a reasonable price. Among them was a Straight Power E9 with 580 watts and cable management, and it received many positive comments.

Special edition found to be good

be quiet! has a small tradition of developing products in cooperation with German hardware magazine PC Games Hardware. Doing so, be quiet! especially adjusts to the needs of enthusiasts and gamers. The newest product of this cooperation is the PCGH Edition power supply. Swedish online magazine SweClockers decided to test two of be quiet!'s recent power supplies, namely the Straight Power E9 with 680 watts and the Pure Power L8 with 630 watts, both offering cable management. Both products were very favorably reviewed and received awards.

The Pure Power L8 630 W has been reviewed by the French site 59hardware. They hav highlighted the high quality level of the PSU as well as its extremely low noise level. Accordingly, the PSU has obtained a double award: the silence label as well as the editor’s choice award!

A review from French online site lesiloc

The Straight Power E9 680 W faced the testing regimen of French site lesiloc, including some video footage. The test shows that the German manufacturer offers an incredibly efficient and amazingly silent product. Two very good reasons to purchase this model, which received a gold medal!

Tech-Review convinced of the "sneaking panther"

After reviewing the E9 Straight Power 580 W CM the German online magazine Tech-Review did not find much to criticize. They praised the extremly low noise level, the "subtle electronics" and the design of the power supply. The consistently positive conclusion was crowned by an Editor's Choice Award.
