One size bigger

The good price-performance ratio, the good RGB lighting and the quiet operation are praised. Igors Lab awards the 140mm PWM Light wings fan with the Performance Booster Award.

Editor's Choice award for 120mm, 120mm HS, 140mm fans

eTeknix has published a review of the be quiet! Light Wings fan series, specifically the 120mm, 120mm high-speed, and 140mm versions. The editor is pleasantly surprised by the professional-looking ARGB effects and the extremely low noise levels of these fans. The result is a coveted Editor's Choice award.

“In terms of the fans, the performance offered by these new Light Wings products is absolutely fantastic. And as the brand name might’ve suggested, a huge aspect of these is an exceptionally low level of acoustic output. Without a doubt, however, the key highlight undoubtedly has to go to those amazing ARGB lighting effects. I’ve come across many fans with lighting effects before, but very few have approached a level of functionality and vibrancy even close to these. And in terms of noise? These are head and shoulders above practically anything else currently on the market. So, as an upgrade to your case fans, or who knows, maybe your AIO radiator, these would undoubtedly be a fantastic choice!”

Neat understated design

Quasarzone puts the Silent Loop 2 into their heavily padded noise testing room and recorded 20.8 dB(A) at idle and 48 dB(A) at full load.

Personally, I think the most attractive part of the be quiet SILENT LOOP 2 360mm is its design. You might think that LED-less cooling fans and pump units that don't have large LED lighting areas don't fit the recent trend of highlighting flashy RGB LEDs.  However, since RGB LEDs is overused, there are many people who prefer products that do not have LEDs at all or use the least amount of LEDs.

Tweakers user review of Dark Rock TF 2

4 out of 5 stars for top-flow cooler

Tweakers user Manyuken has published a review of the Dark Rock TF 2, praising this cooler as a great solution for cases that have a low build height. The cooling performance is good enough for most situations. He recommends the cooler and gives it a 4-out-of-5 rating.

“For midrange to high-end gaming PCs, this is a very interesting cooler, especially if you want to use a somewhat smaller case, a top down cooler can give just that 1 cm clearance in terms of height. It cools well, is very quiet, just keep in mind the trickier installation steps and the width.”
