Guru3D gives Recommended Award to Shadow Rock LP

Small cooler, deadly silent

The English-language, Dutch online blog Guru3D has publised a very extensive, 10-page review of the new be quiet! Shadow Rock LP cooler. In this review the Shadow Rock LP receives good praise for being a silent, capable cooler for htpc builds or small form factor PC's. The cooler is given the Recommended Award.

The trade-off with the small form factor and relative average performance is an incredibly low noise level, you'll be hard pressed to be able to even hear noise coming from this puppy. So in that respect, the product ticks the right boxes as that is the sole purpose of this product. Overall we like the Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP, if you do not plan to overclock or simply stick to a more mainstream CPU the temps will remain fine, however a sheer inaudible solution then is at hand, as you can't really hear this product, even under stress.

Dark Rock TF gets recommended by Guru3D

Recommended Award for excellent craftsmanship

The Dutch-based, international techblog Guru3D has disseminated the be quiet! Dark Rock TF in a ten-page review. The cooler only lacked in its mounting system, but that was not serious enough to steer this cooler away from the Recommended Award.

Mounting kit aside, the performance is excellent, the noise levels are incredibly low. The looks and aesthetics, well you either love or hate the design I guess, there is nothing in-between. But the dark and black tones will please the vast majority of you guys I think. This is a high-end performance heatpipe cooler and we do need to factor in the CPU being used today -- the Core i7 4790K, it is among the worst processors to cool and the Dark Rock TF maintained good cooling performance and low noise levels in all conditions we fired at it.
