Nevertheless, he calls the Silent Loop the best water cooler of the year 2016.

“But my friends, all in all, the Silent Loop by be quiet! is the best water cooling unit, I've seen in 2016.”

Enough reason for a coveted Recommended Award.

Hardware.Info forum review of Dark Rock Pro 3

2 out of 5 stars

Hardware.Info forum user Leo Berkhout has published a review of the be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3. He likes the cooling performance and the overall aesthetics of this cooler, but has quite a few words to say on the inconvenient mounting mechanism and complains that the cooler blocks four of the eight DIMM slots. Even though he really likes the cooler itself, due to the bad design the score is 2 out of 5 stars.

“Pretty, solid and silent cooler, looks very impressive! Sleek and very nicely designed, without the typical red LED lighting for gamers, but looks like a great choice for office PCs.”

Dark Power Pro 11 850W reviewed by Play3r.net

Gold and Quiet Award for be quiet! PSU

The influential UK blog Play3r.net has published a review of the Dark Power Pro 11 850W. The reviewer has nothing but praise for this PSU, commenting only on its high retail price. In terms of performance and noise levels the DPP11 a great PSU, ending up with a Gold Award and Quiet Award.

“The main draw here is just how quiet the Dark Power Pro 11 is, at idle and load; it’s barely audible at all! It certainly sat quieter than the test benches CPU cooler, graphics card cooler and Noctua case fan. That is pretty phenomenal considering the 80PLUS Platinum efficiency rating which I would class as the new premium standard for the top tier power supplies; the Dark Power Pro sits very high in this tier.”

Pure Power 9 500W in Tweakers user review

2 out of 5 stars due to wrong design choices

The Dutch PSU expert -The_Mask- has published a Tweakers forum review of the Pure Power 9 500W CM. The review isn't very positive for be quiet!: according to the reviewer, basing the Pure Power 9 on the obsolete FSP Raider platform is a huge mistake, due to the horrible voltage regulation of this platform. On a positive note, the PSU looks nice and is very silent, with a good ripple suppression and efficiency. The score is 2 out of 5.

“Well, this clearly shows how it should not be done. In my humble opinion, be quiet! made the wrong choice by going for the FSP Raider platform. This platform is characterised by a horrible voltage regulation and you can clearly see this in the performance benchmarks.”
