be quiet! is Manufacturer of the year for power supplies at PCGH

In issue 02/2015, PC Games Hardware asked its readers to vote on the past year, to establish the Manufacturer of the year in 26 different hardware and software categories. be quiet! has been voted first place in the category "Power supplies" by the readers and receives an Award for this.

In the readers poll by PC Games Hardware to establish the Manufacturer of the year, be quiet! has been chosen for a first place in the category "Fans" and receives the coveted Award for this.

Hardware.info hands out award for excellent fan

Hardware.info has concluded their Awards 2014 and be quiet! has managed to snatch the winning award for the Best Casefan (Series) with the Silent Wings 2. That's the second year that be quiet! wins this coveted award.

The Polish benchmark.pl has reviewed the Silent Base 800. In this publication the author accented the modern solutions such as the ability to mount the 2,5" discs behind the motherboard, interesting design and the high level of the solutions applied in the housing. The Silent Base 800 received the maximum score of five points.

Cooler convinced with silent performance and looks

The UK online magazine eTeknix has awarded the Pure Rock with its Bang for Bucks seal. The cooler scored with a great silent performance and fantastic looks which resulted in the coveted Bang for Bucks Award.

PCGH has reviewed five 180mm and ten 140mm fans

In the latest fan round-up by PC Games Hardware, the Silent Wings 2 PWM in 140mm-format has been awarded the Top-Technik logo. Decisive for awarding this prize was the high-quality, low-noise bearing and the good noise/performance ratio.

Tech-Review hands out two awards for first be quiet!-case

The be quiet! Silent Base 800 has been reviewed by Tech-Review and has convinced the editors with its high user-friendliness, great isolation, space layout and the high-quality build. The coolers are also included in the package. This total feature set means the case manages to snag two awards.

Polish review of the Silent Base 800

A review of the Silent Base 800, published on the portal pcfoster.pl, underlines the distinctive design and high functionality of this be quiet!-case. The author also emphasised the usage of the air intakes on the side panels, excellent airflow and the sound-proofing of the housing. The Silent Base 800 has been awarded with the recommendation of the portal.

Comptoir du hardware has reviewed the Pure Rock

The French web site Comptoir du hardware has reviewed the Pure Rock. Thanks to its good manufacturing quality, its cooling performance, all at a very attractive price, it has been rewarded with a 4/5 rate.

First model to actually deliver silence

The English online magazine TechiCize has published a 6-page review of the Shadow Rock Slim. The editor took a very strong liking to this be quiet!-cooler, because of it's good performance and it's near silence. Without any doubt he rewarded this CPU-cooler with a Value Award.

PC-Max compares 11 fans in 140mm format

In an extensive round-up by PC-Max, the be quiet! SilentWings 140mm was able to fully convince the editors and score an Editors Choice award. Especially the low noise production and the offered performance are what have lead to this good rating.

Case review of be quiet! on PCelite.pl

The editors from PCelite.pl have named the first be quiet! case "one of the most interesting proposals on the market over the last half of the year". The author of the review drew particular attention to the cooling system and the high level of performance and durability. The Silent Base 800 has been awarded with the Editor's Choice Award.

25 power supplies tested, including four be quiet! models

In their first issue of 2015, the Dutch computer magazine Hardware.info has published a round-up of 25 power supplies in the 600/650W range. The round-up includes four be quiet! power supplies, which unfortunately did not receive any awards. Based on the benchmark results, the four power supplies (Dark Power Pro, Power Zone, Straight Power 10, System Power 7) do score good results across the board.

Youtube expert gives praise to low profile CPU-cooler

The UK-based Youtube blogger Dans Tech has reviewed the Shadow Rock Slim. This small be quiet!-cooler has surpassed his expectations by performing better than its diminutive size would suspect. He recommends this cooler to his audience.

PC-Max compares 11 fans in 140mm format

PC-Max has reviewed eleven fans in 140mm-format. Between the candidates was the ShadowWings SW1 by be quiet!, which on grounds of its low noise levels and performance received an Editors Choice award.

Gold Award for the strongest power supply of be quiet!

In a test by Gamezoom the be quiet! Power Zone 1000W PSU showed excellent results, reaching a total score of 90 procent (9 out of 10 stars). The editor was convinced of the price, performance and technical quality of the product. That's why he awarded the Gold Award to the power supply.

Silver Award for first be quiet!-case

The Belgian review site Black Hole Tec has reviewed the first be quiet! case, the Silent Base 800. They have some minor issues with the case, such as the lack of a window and the high price, but with the high quality of the case and the excellent feature set they have awarded the Silent Base 800 with a Silver Award.

Preferred PSU for budget all-round PC

The Dutch online magazine Hardware.info has given their February recommendations for building the perfect budget all-round PC. Their preferred choice for a power supply is the be quiet! System Power 7 350W due to its high efficiency and low power levels.

Silver Award for extreme silence and cooling

The Belgian online blog 4tech has reviewed the be quiet! Pure Rock and wrote a favorable review. The reviewer was impressed by the inaudible operating level of this fan, without sacrificing cooling performance. With no real downsides, the reviewer gave this fan 4 out of 5 points, leading to a Silver Award.

Modding has reviewed the Pure Rock

The French web site modding has reviewed the be quiet! Pure Rock. Highlighting its manufacturing quality, its improved mounting system, its good performances and its attractive price, the web site has granted it with a 3-star award.

Low price doesn't mean low performance

The Dutch online site Hardware.info has reviewed the Pure Rock, be quiet!'s budget cooler. Even though it's not the cheapest CPU cooler these guys have tested, they were very impressed with the price/performance of this product. Low noise and excellent cooling make the Pure Rock a direct competitor for the Cooler Master Hyper 412S. For its merits, the cooler receives a Silver Award.

Hardware.info has concluded their Awards 2014 and be quiet! has managed to snatch the runner-up award for the Best PSU (Series) with the Dark Power Pro 10. The power supply ended up closely after the Corsair RM series.

Swedish praise for first be quiet!-case

The online Swedish authority NordicHardware reviewed the Silent Base 800. They had a lot of praise for the first be quiet!-case, especially when it comes to the extremely low noise levels, easy installation and excellent hard drive suspension. They give pointers for improvement for a next version of this case, but are satisfied enough to give this case a Recommended Award.
