| Silent Wings in huge fan roundup |
Gets a buy recommendation from U.S. magazine
U.S. based online magazine X-bit labs did a huge roundup on pc fans. They had to divide the roundup into several categories since there were just too many products. So be quiet! participated in the "1350 RPM or Higher Rotation Speed"-part with its 120mm Silent Wings in USC and PWM version. After all, German engineered Silent Wings could receive a recommendation which only a hand full of the overall 28 products were able to earn.
"Anyway, these be quiet! fans are exceptionally quiet indeed. I guess they even might have been included into the first part of this review where I discussed low-speed and low-noise fans. The Silent Wings series works softly and without any unwanted sounds."

| Dark Rock in "Custom PC"-magazine |
Good conclusion and "Premium Grade" award
British "Custom PC" magazine did a review of the Dark RockAdvanced cpu cooler in their "April 2011" issue. They found very pleasing words an handed out their "Premium Grade" award.
"At £40, it’s the same price as the Frio, but while the latter was 4˚C cooler, this was using its maximum fan speed, which is unpleasantly noisy. In contrast, the Dark Rock Advanced is quieter than the Frio at its lowest fan speed, but just 2˚C warmer. That’s a worthy compromise for a more pleasant PC experience."
